Our Story

As avid boat enthusiasts we have recognized that boats are getting bigger, and marinas are getting smaller.

Each year we witness boaters struggling to control their watercrafts in close quarters bumping into docks and other boats. Larger boats are much heavier.

Reaching for a conventional paddle has become less effective. Most yachts and large vessels already have built in thrust systems to assist with docking in close quarters.

Aftermarket thrust systems to retrofit your boat are also available for thousands of dollars.

PortaProp will propel kayaks, canoes and virtually any floating vessel.

PortaProp is the affordable alternative

that all boaters need and anyone can own.
